Looking for rider feedback on Scarabeo

My mother-in-law recently picked up a scooter and it got me thinking that maybe this is something my wife would like. However, being a guy, I'm thinking I'd like to stay away from any frilly little girlie bikes...primarily so I can ride it to The Scarabeo certainly doesn't look like your typical grocery getting scooter.

Can any riders give me some feedback on it?

Maybe owning a Scarabeo has changed me. Since I bought a 2007 Scarabeo 500, I no longer have an urgent desire to end the life of people with liberal bumper stickers on their cars. I still want them to die, though, the sooner the better. Still no luck on compassion or understanding.

hi i have 06 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 with side bags and the back seat rest. i bought it last year and love the look of it and how it rides. how ever the store is no more and there is no one willing to maintained the warranty.i bought the bike because i like the style. some people thought i was nut to pay $7380. for the bike. but i like it and it will keep up with traffic. i ride with my wife and she has a bad back. would like to meet other owner of the same bike.
