I thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread on Aprilia's racing activities for all of us to discuss our team's progress and results, especially since we are back in WSBK this season

Our team is flying so far considering that we are new to the championship this season with a brand new bike! BMW is also a new team this year (T.Corser, R.Xaus) but their results aren't even comparable and they are not contenders in the championship by a long shot. Assen was tough for our team as Nakano fell in race one and didn't participate in the second race. Biaggi finished a satisfying 5th in the 1st race only to bail out in the 2nd after burning out his clutch
I must say that on the whole the team is doing well as no one expected a new team to be bringing the results they've had so far. Biaggi is ranking 7th overall so far and Nakano has dropped to 16th after missing out on valuable points this past weekend
Looking forward to the next race in Monza, hopefully the team can regain some lost ground
