Cuts out when idle or slowing down!
Hi everyone,
I have a 2002 Aprilia RS50 and after spending £450 to get it through it's MOT I really want to know why it's cutting out when I take my hand off the throttle and it slows down?!! It doesn't tick over when idle either.
I've looked for the idle screw but can't seem to see it anywhere? The tiny whole in the side where you're meant to stick a screwdriver in doesn't seem to lead to a screw either??
Does anyone know where I can find this screw? And if you reckon this is the problem?
Also... After a short time riding it'll get more and more sluggish until even the throttle being full way on doesn't keep it from stalling. Could this be a fuel problem? The fuel twist is on ON so maybe it's something under the surface?
It's been in the garage twice, and all they say are Aprilia's are unreliable or it's cold!!! Please someone who knows what they're talking about post back, desperate to get this back on the road!!!
