Well.... I recently saved an rs50 (my RS50 now

) from the scrap yard. Its a very tatty thing but its a 2003 with 12k on the clock so its not all bad. There are faults everywhere on it, brakes knakered, shockers leaking, flat tyres and the body panels are scuffed up bad but all that is straight forward repairs. The biggest fault in my eye is the engine, its lame and could do with assistance fult finding it. So, it starts easy and never stalls, but when its rev'd it slowly climbs to about 5k rpm (takes about 5 seconds) then it battles to 7k (another 5 seconds) then it hits 12k in about half a second. Driving in 1st it takes about 200yards to reach 12k. To me id also say the whole bike seems to hum alot while the revs are trying to pick up, possibly the engine is out of balance??? I have also spotted a small hole in the engine case, the hole is around the fly wheel so i dont think it will cause any issues (but i havent a clue). If anyone can attempt to diagnose my engine fault id love to here your feedback.
