Aprillia 50 Scarabeo gas gauge not working
First, my apologies if I am posting in the wrong place. It took quite a while to find a "Post New Thread" button so I'm going to take a chance that I'm in the right place.
I have a 50, a Scarabeo with the electronic carburetor configuration, not the usual carburetor. I forget the proper term for this air-fuel setup.
For some reason, my gas gauge stopped working. I've checed fuses, various wire connectors and just about everything I can see after I've taken off as many outer panels as I can manage.
Checked behind the dashboard for odd looking wire breaks and such, but it all looks very clean and proper.
Anyone have an idea what I might try? Is there a specific place a gas gauge fuse might be located? Is there a gas gauge sensor somewhere that I haven't located in my manual?
More often than not, it's something obvious. Oh boy am I great at missing the completely obvious.
There doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong with the gauge, by the way.
