Default Needing help :(

hi firstly i am new and dont know where to post this so sorry if its in the wrong

--APRILIA RS125 2000--

i have a problem with my coolant system/reservoir i toped up my coolant a while back with antifreeze and all was good i keep it just in the middle of the min/max line so i was driving home yesterday and all this smoke came up from underneath me so i stop the bike turned it off and was 2 mins away from my house so got the tools and removed the tank to realise the coolant had raised up and was right at the top of the bottle and leaking out (a think)..so i turned the screw (in the hose) to release the preasure to open the cap. then done this again (screw) until the collant started to come out the hole..built it all back up and drove it today and has done the same thing smoke everywhere and the collant right back up to the top!! so confused (basic knowledge of bike and this is my first bike )

It's a bit hard to know what's wrong exactly without looking at it, I'd take it to a local mechanic let him have a look and see what he thinks.. He shouldn't charge you for having a look. Just ask him for a quote to fix it, if he thinks your going to spend money with him he's more likely to look at it for free for you, and see what he says. I used to be a mechanic and wouldn't have a problem looking at somebody's bike for them for free but some meaner mechanics out there might.

Also points worth making.....if you are going to pay somebody to fix it I'd get at least 2-3 quotes for the work so you kiow where you are with it. Also the cheapest mechanic is rarely the best!
