Aprilia RS50 Sidestand MOD
On my Aprilia RS50 1999 it has a typical Italian side stand, like on a standard MV Augusta stand, which retracts itself when the bike is stood upright. I know this is a safety feature to stop people from driving away with it down but it is highly annoying because, and I'm sure everyone with one will find this, when you try and put the stand down it sometimes will not go all the way and I have seen many people drop there bikes due to the stand not being fully seated on the ground.
Does anyone know of a MOD to the existing stand which prevents the stand trying to retract itself? I want to be able to pick the bike up off the stand and it to stay down.
Any help would be much appreciated.
