Should I do It?
Hi people,
I have been thinking about getting an RS125 for a couple of weeks I want to use it to get to and from work its about 30 miles each way and 98% of it is on a fast road i.e. I will be traveling at around 65 - 75mph
Now I know this is not the ideal bike for this sort of thing being a 2 stroke but I really really like them and I just want to know a couple of things
1, do you think the bike is capable of doing this journey on a daily basis
2, on a journey like this how much fuel will I be using (from what I have read looks like i may get 55 - 60 mpg.
3, how long will it be before the bike goes "pop" (probably will happen using it like this.
I have had a look at some other bikes but there is always something that I dont like.
Honda CG125 - Would rather walk
Honda NSR - not bad but again 2 stroke and back wheel is a little skinny
Honda CBR - good because a four stroke but looks like a race CG
Cagiva Mito - nice bike but reports are its gonna break sooner then the RS
Please help me out guys any info would be great
