2001 RS50 will not start!!
Hey,
New to the forum, have a 2001 RS50 that has been sitting in the garage now for about 3 years not working. Decided that this is the summer that I want to get it up and running. I am not very mechanically savvy, but dont let that scare you off. The bike just stopped starting on me one day back in 07 sometime. Would turn over with the electric start, but did not sound like it was engaging with anything. Tried to bump start it and same problem. At this point i have the battery sitting on the charger, but i know it is going to do the same thing once i get it charged... Any initial advice or further questions you can ask to get some more specifics out of, i eagerly await...
