Hi everyone, I am new to this site and new to Aprilia's. I have just bought a Haga rep 2001 model No 161 of a limited production run. When I checked the engine oil level there was nothing showing in the plastic pipe on the oil tank. As I thought I just added oil until the level was showing in the plastic pipe. Have I done the right thing, because I have since herd there is some sort of procedure you should go through which involves putting the ignition on ?. Am I doing some thing wrong. I have not been on the bike since filling with oil, so I do not know if the clutch will slip, or if the engine will blow any oil out (if I have over filled the tank).
Could some one please advise me as I do not want to do any damage to my bike by going out on it, possibly over filled.
