99 mille wont start! please help!!
Hi, I Have A 99 Rsv Mille Which I Have Only Owned A Short While, Today When Warming The Bike Up It Suddenly Cut Out. I Went Back To The Bike And It Just Turned Over And Over But Will Not Fire Up, It Has Put Up "diag" And Underneath That "1" In The Right Hand Display. The Left Display Looks Normal. It Appears Not To Be Priming The Fuel Pump As It Does Not Make The Usual Sound When The Ignition Is Switched On. I Have Connected The Diagnostic Leads Together Under The Right Hand Side Panel And The Display Returns To Normal But Still Just Turns Over And Wont Fire, I Believe These Wires Should Be Left Disconnected Under Normal Use? Around 2 Weeks Ago I Replaced A Faulty Starter Relay After It Failed When I Had Ran My Battery Down Which Is Now Fully Charged And Appears To Be In Good Order. I Have Used The Bike Since That Happened And Did Around 80 Miles Yesterday Trouble Free. The Only Thing I Have Checked Is The Battery And The 2 30amp Fuses Near The Battery. I Have Read Other Posts On The Forums But Havnt Come Across One Quite The Same. I Would Really Appreciate Your Comments Or Ideas On This As I Dont Want To Start Replacing Or Stripping Things That Dont Need To Be Disturbed. I Have Just Made The Switch To V-twins And Am Loving This Mille In Spite Of The Problems So Far.
