Gear Shifting Problems?
Have any of you out there had any problems gear shifting? I have a 2008 Shiver and the gear shifting was sloppy. My dealer said there was a problem that Aprilia recognized with springs and replaced mine. After, the shifting appears better but occasionally when switching from 4th to 5th gear the engine started revving and the dashboard said it was in 2nd. Sometimes when I downshift, the gears rattle until it drops into place. Any ideas? One difficulty is that I can't get the problem to reoccur consistently. Thanks for any and all of your input.
