Default Countdown Begins for the 2008 Shiver

Be the first to post your experience with the release of the new Aprilia Shiver in the USA! I have placed a deposit to receive the first one delivered in Utah. Have you seen the latest promo for $500 deposits? Free Aprilia leather jacket when you purchase before March!

Default Aprilia Shiver Alpinestar Jacket Extended

Due to the delay of shipping the 750 Shiver the free $500 leather Aplinestar jacket promo has been extended. I believe it will only pertain to those who have put money down prior to March 1.

Post with your first impressions of the Shiver!

Default Finally Riding the Shiver in the U.S.A!

I picked up my new silver/gold Shiver March 29! After a few rides I can say my expectations have been exceeded. The bike has a robust look and the size will suit a wide range of riders. I saw the orange model as well with the silver trestle and it also looks sharp. Neither will disappoint in the style category.

The Shiver is extremely smooth and powerful! There is just enough feedback from the road and the bike without being jarred or having much vibration. You get excellent torque and excellent power assisted by the ride by wire technology. At a wide variety of elevations this bike was always responsive from the throttle.

I have noticed this bike does not like to cruise. Shifting down and lowering your rpm's is not was this bike is built for. The 750 V-twin Shiver begs for higher rpm's with varied terrain.

Since this bike was built from the ground up as a naked the handling, power and comfort compliment each other very well. Get yours and post your comments here!
