Default New Aprilia Shiver Oil Leak

I just bought a 2009 Aprilia shiver, and everything was just fine, I put some oil in it, connected the battery and start using the motorcycle for my everyday routine, but yesterday I went for a ride out of town. On my way back home I start to feel the motorcycle warmer than usual, so I stop and look around and I notice a lot of oil coming down to the ground and moments later the oil pressure light went on. The motorcycle has 200 miles and I believe there is no reason for this to happen, but what could be the possibles causes?, any ideas they are greatly welcome since my only authorize dealer is 10 hours away in a complete different city.

Default Oil over-fill

I don't think you need worry about the oil over-fill as I was stupid enough to do this once a few years ago and once I drained the oil down to the normal level, all was OK and I rode that bike for many thousands of kilometers after that with no problems what-so-ever. Just keep an eye out for a little oil leak around the oil filter seal as the Shiver is known to do that. Mine did until I torqued the oil filter down a bit more and no more leaks. Too little oil is what causes damage.
