Default Tuono Run Un Period

Hi Guys

After a mass of Jap inline 4's I'm now a proud owner of a new 2009 Tuono!

One question which finding the answer is hard - what are the running in instructions for the bike?

I was told by the dealer it is already run in at the factory but not to really take it above 4000 rpm. This seems very low and 4000 is reached very quickly and actually makes riding hard as you are constantly checking the tacho.

Is this correct? If so, can't wait until 600 miles so I can really open it up!!

Cheers
Guy

Talking

4000 IS low. The most important thing to do is vary the RPMs and keep it under 6K. Keep it on the twisties and keep the rubber side down!!!
