Hello I'm Zoe, 55 living in Southern Louisiana. Bought a Honda Elite 80 to learn to ride on last Christmas (12-07) I used be be a horseback trailrider. But I love the speed & comfort of my scooter. Saw the Aprilia Sportcity 250 & fell in love. I just ordered a new one yesterday from my local Vespa dealer. I've been lurking for a little while. Loved reading the pros & cons of bike ownership. My partner of 22 years just purchased a dragon red Piaggio BV 250. We bought scooters to use at campgrounds since we are RVers. We enjoyed riding them so much now thats all we want to ride is our scooters.
Plus can't believe the gas mileage we get. Riding anywhere on our scooters is what we love best. As far as our dream bike thats what I have on order. God Bless all keep it safe.

And I welcome anyone to reply w/any helpful info about this radical bike of mine and its oilling system, clarification of rumors/facts (engine seal degredation, oil levels, coolant additives, warranty issues, approx. mileage before rebuild, and cost of such?).Or simply drop me a line to see how my punctured lung from my compound fractured clavical, and when i'll be twisting the throttle again? (yeah,.. it happened w/a smile on my face within the first 65 miles on my RXV)

I have a Scarabeo 50, 2003, and it's Ditech model. I'm in my 50s and live about 50 miles north of NYC. I try to do some maintenance, but I have only so much time and not a great deal of talent.
