rs 125 hydraulic clutch???

Hi,i'm new to this forum and i have an Aprilia rs 125 project on the go.

Just wondered if theres any aftermarket hydraulic clutch kits for the 122 motor?

I'm a motorcycle engineer by trade,so i'm thinking about purchasing a clutch master cylinder, line and slave cylinder and machining an rs 125 clutch cover as a one off experiment to see if i can convert from cable to hydraulic.

Anyone seen this done before?

Good idea I'll look in to it! (ex mechanic myself still work on bikes nearly every day) I'm also building a rs125 it's a race inspired bike going to be good! (spent thousands on it!) I'll post pics, rolling road print out and build stats in a few months when it's finished but for now this is a good idea I'm definately going to look in to.Keep me posted on how you get on and I'll do the same..

I've been looking in to this and it's not that hard to do, I'd use a ducati setup you need to attach the slave cylinder to the clutch arm throught he middle plug on the clucth housing then attach the clutch slave cylinder to the housing and it should work ok.

I've decided not to do this to my bike tho...I'm really trying to lower the weight of the bike and this will add weight. So being as the clutch is fairly light on a rs125 (even with heavy duty clutch springs) and I've got a quickshifter so for me this would be a bit pointless.

Let me know how you get on though, I'd like to see some pics of one working!
